Join Londoners in Diwali celebrations – an extravagant cultural event which will light up Trafalgar Square in traditional Indian style. This Festival of Lights will include traditional light displays, mixture of traditional and contemporary music and dance and performances of Bollywood hits. 

Diwali previously attracted about 25 000 people and is celebrated by people of all nationalities, races and religions, Diwali marks new beginnings and a renewal of commitment to family values. It traditionally symbolises joy, love, reflection, resolution, forgiveness, light and knowledge.
